      • Desktop or laptop computer purchase – Proposal must detail the estimated cost of the computer hardware and associated software;
      • Undergraduate research study – Undergraduate research to be conducted with approximate costs outlined and support letter provided by either the student’s academic advisor or a faculty-sponsor; or

(Cooperative education terms are not charged full-time tuitions and are therefore not counted toward the 12-quarter limit nor are they eligible for scholarship funding.)

  5. Academic requirements for renewal / continuance:
    1. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress toward a bachelor’s degree, earn 12 credit hours each quarter and maintain a 3.2 minimum university grade point average.
    2. Recipient must complete 30 hours of community service submitted each June to the Scholarship & New Student Financial Aid Center.
    3. If the recipient is suspended, expelled, or otherwise removed from the University for any reason, the scholarship is automatically terminated.

  6. UC|21 Scholarship Program Limits: The UC|21 Scholarship is not a specific award or dollar value added to other UC scholarships.  It is a program assuring that a package of UC scholarships will meet the value of in-state tuition and UC base room rate. Unless otherwise noted by the Director of Scholar Recruitment, students should assume all UC scholarship funds (including tuition remission) are part of the UC|21 Scholarship package assurance.

  7. UC Scholarship Maximum: Students who receive a university scholarship package in excess of the UC|21 Scholarship assurance should note that total institutional award funds may not exceed the direct costs of attendance plus the UC-budgeted book allowance.
